I feel like I used to see drunk Leroy more often, but nowadays the Lockhorns spend most of their time exchanging passive-aggressive mutterings. At any rate, it’s always a treat to see the fine fellow inebriated. It’s not just the nose—the eyes are really what sells him as a professional soak. That’s some fine character design right there.

Oh, and the joke. Leroy needs to pay Loretta a few bucks to get in? Is that the idea?
